Not Guilty Verdict

Domestic Assault

When charged with Domestic Assault, our client turned to Liberty Law Attorneys Matt Knipe and Eric Hagen. The State’s key evidence was surveillance footage that purported to record our client assaulting the accuser. In fact, a closer look at the video revealed the accuser instigated the physical altercation. Following closing arguments, the jury returned a verdict of Not Guilty in under ten minutes.

Domestic Assault and Child Abuse

Following an investigation into a domestic dispute and altercation in our client’s home, law enforcement determined our client was the aggressor and charged him with domestic assault and child abuse. When Liberty Law Group Attorney Eric Hagen dug deeper into the case, he learned from one of the children that our client was not the aggressor, but the victim. Our team also discovered surveillance footage of a previous interaction where our client was attacked by the other party and attempted to peacefully resolve the matter. Confronted with the evidence uncovered by Liberty Law Group, the State dismissed the charges against our client.
