Joseph Neuhaus

Joe Neuhaus is an experienced trial attorney with more than a decade of legal practice spanning family law, civil litigation, appellate advocacy, and regulatory matters. He represents clients with a practical, results-driven approach grounded in extensive courtroom experience and a deep understanding of complex legal systems.

Prior to joining Liberty Law Group, Joe served as a Senior Litigation Attorney with Cordell & Cordell, where he handled high-conflict and complex family law matters, including contested custody, support, and asset division cases. Joe previously worked as an Assistant Attorney General in Nebraska’s Health Discipline and Licensing Division, where he prosecuted violations of the Uniform Credentialing Act and represented the State in administrative and regulatory proceedings involving licensed healthcare professionals.

Earlier in his career, Joe operated his own law practice in Lincoln, giving him first-hand insight into both the legal and practical challenges faced by individuals navigating the legal system. That experience continues to inform his client-focused, solutions-oriented advocacy.

Raised in rural Nebraska and the son of two attorneys, Joe was exposed early to the demands, responsibilities, and ethics of legal practice. He earned his undergraduate degree in Theatre from the University of Southern California, an unconventional but valuable foundation that sharpened his ability to understand human motivation, communicate clearly, and present persuasive arguments on behalf of his clients. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Outside of the office, Joe enjoys reading, basketball, music, fitness, and spending time with his wife and four children.
