Attorney Emily Bradley, dedicated lawyer at Liberty Law

Emily Bradley dedicated nearly a decade of her life serving her communities as a police officer, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to advocating for victims while simultaneously upholding justice and constitutional rights for the accused. Emily’s exceptional investigative skills thwarted a college campus mass shooter, and also earned her letters of recognition from the City of Champaign Police Department, the Tuscola Illinois Police Department, and the Omaha Police Department.

Being an officer in the field requires quick thinking, creative problem solving, and adapting to rapidly changing conditions, skills that she is eager to leverage into her career as a trial attorney. Emily is one of the few criminal defense attorneys that can defend from experience as former law enforcement officer, giving her insight into potential holes and gaps in investigations that undermine the State’s case. Some of her training that is highly applicable to potential cases includes, but is not limited to:
  • Advanced DUI certifications, as well as being involved in over 100 DUI investigations: This gives her a tremendous perspective and expertise in defending DUI cases.
  • Firearm instructor certifications and defensive tactics, as well as evaluating use of force by law enforcement: Provides her with the skills and expertise to expertly defend firearms and self-defense related cases
  • Prestigious ACAMS certification for investigating white-collar crime: Gives her unique skills and expertise in defending white collar criminal cases and complex financial charges.
  • Compiling task forces of State and Federal Law enforcement officers: Shows her dedication and abilities to create a powerful team to tackle even the most complex criminal investigations

Emily lives in Lincoln with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, attending wine tastings, and traveling to their ever-expanding ranch in Wyoming. Emily is passionate about protecting her clients’ rights and delivering results with the same dedication, clarity and excellence that defined her law enforcement career.
